My involvement in education marketing and communications follows mor than 20years in newspapers including ten as a national education journalist.
At the Times Ed, which I joined when it was still a sister paper of The Times, I covered post-16 education.
I help colleges and other organisations with a range of challenges including increasing their adult and 16-18 numbers, improving communications with employers and helping to improve their reputation and standing within the communities they serve.
My work includes strategy development, assistance with carrying out change and interim management. I work alongside senior managers, marketing colleagues and business development teams as well as curriculum and student services professionals.
My clients will be happy to testify to the effectiveness of my work, which has had a significant impact on college revenues since I began in 2008.
I have also worked with Government agencies, charities and others involved in post-16 education and training.
